The editorial team is comprised of food enthusiasts from all over the United States. We come from different backgrounds and have a variety of culinary experiences, but we all share a common love for good food.

#1 – Carrie Boyd – Editor in Chief

Carrie is a food writer and editor with more than 15 years of experience. She has worked for some of the biggest names in the food industry, including Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, and Martha Stewart Living.
As the Editor in Chief of Foodiedella.com, Carrie oversees all of the content on the site. She also manages the team of contributing writers and editors, who help to create delicious recipes, helpful tips, and informative articles that you’ll find on the site.
A native of the Chicago area, Carrie is passionate about all things food. She loves trying new restaurants and experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen. She’s also a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, so she knows a thing or two about food!
#2 – Shelli McConnell – Managing Editor

Shelli is a managing editor and recipe developer with more than five years of experience. She has worked for several major food publications, including EatingWell, Fine Cooking, and Family Circle.
As the Managing Editor of Foodiedella.com, Shelli oversees the day-to-day operations of the site. She also works closely with the editorial team to ensure that all of the content is of the highest quality.
When she’s not working, Shelli enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. She is also an avid runner and can often be found running around the streets of Chicago.
#3 – Caitlyn Diimig, RD – Food Editor

Caitlyn is a Registered Dietitian and food editor with more than ten years of experience. She has worked for several major food publications, including EatingWell, Prevention, and Men’s Health.
As the Food Editor of Foodiedella.com, Caitlyn is responsible for creating and editing all of the recipes on the site. She also provides valuable tips and information on nutrition and healthy eating.
Caitlyn graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in dietetics and went on to complete her dietetic internship at Rush University Medical Center. She is currently a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
#4 – Jessica Christensen – Recipe Developer

Amanda is a recipe developer and food writer with more than ten years of experience. She has worked for several major food publications, including Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, and Martha Stewart Living.
As a Recipe Developer for Foodiedella.com, Amanda creates and tests all of the recipes that you’ll find on the site. She also provides helpful tips and information on how to make the most of your culinary experience in the city. She’s also a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education.
When she’s not in the kitchen, Amanda enjoys exploring Chicago’s many neighborhoods and restaurants. She also likes to run along the lakefront path and is a member of the Chicago Area Runners Association.
